Don't Rely On Luck. Trust Your Neighbor.
"Kismet" means fate or destiny. In the construction world, finding a contractor who shows up on time, answers the phone, and builds projects right the first time often feels like pure luck.
At Kismet Fence, we are taking luck out of the equation. We are a locally owned, Licensed Contractor based right here in Farmington, serving our neighbors across Northwest Arkansas. We aren't a giant franchise with a corporate headquarters in another state and franchise fees. We are the guys you see at the local grocery store and the Friday night football games.
Our Philosophy: Quality Over Volume. We believe true craftsmanship is in the details you don't see immediately but you will notice five years from now.
It’s why we dig our post holes deeper.
It’s why Metal Frames and Metal Posts are standard on every wood gate we build — so they never sag.
It’s why we treat your backyard like our own — and we always leave it cleaner than we found it.
We are building more than just fences — we are building a reputation. When you hire Kismet, you aren't just hiring a contractor; you're hiring a neighbor who stands behind their work.
Kismet Fence is a locally owned Licensed Contractor, No. 0446811126, based in Farmington and serving all of Northwest Arkansas.
Fence Repair in Northwest Arkansas
We repair fences across Northwest Arkansas, whether we built them or not: leaning sections and broken posts, loose or missing boards and pickets, damaged panels, sagging gates and broken latches, and fences hit by storms or fallen trees.
Repair or replace? A repair is usually the better buy when the damage is limited to a few posts, one section or a gate. When most of the posts are rotting at the ground line, fixing one section at a time tends to cost more than replacing the run. We will tell you which one makes sense before you spend anything.
If we built your fence, start with our lifetime workmanship warranty. Storms, falling trees and ground movement are not workmanship, so the warranty does not cover them, but we will still come look, tell you plainly what happened, and quote the repair.
Some towns require repairs. Bella Vista’s code lets the city order the repair or removal of a fence that is more than 5 percent damaged or leaning 10 degrees from vertical. In Avoca and Holiday Island, missing boards, pickets or posts have to be replaced promptly with the same type and quality of material.
Permits: most repairs do not need one, but replacing a fence can. Bentonville requires a permit to replace a fence. Bella Vista does too, unless less than 49 percent of the length is replaced, and Prairie Grove unless less than half of any single straight run is replaced. Siloam Springs exempts repairs but not replacement. We check your town’s rule before we quote, and when a permit is needed, we pull it. See the fence rules for all 29 towns.

Fence Repairs We Handle
Leaning Fences & Broken Posts
A leaning fence almost always starts at a post: rot at the ground line, a post set too shallow, or soil that washed out around it. We replace or reset the failed posts and bring the line back to plumb instead of propping it up.
Boards, Pickets & Panels
Loose, cracked or missing boards and pickets, and damaged panels. We match the existing material as closely as we can. On a wood fence, new boards look brighter than the old ones until they weather or the fence is stained.
Gates, Latches & Hinges
A gate that drags or will not latch usually has a sagging post or a frame that has pulled out of square. We fix the cause, not just the latch. Pool gates get extra attention, because their self-closing, self-latching hardware has to work every time.
Storm & Fallen-Tree Damage
Wind and falling limbs snap posts and take out whole sections. We repair or replace the damaged sections and posts, then check the rest of the line for anything the storm loosened.
